Time-lapse stock footage of clouds in a brewing rainstorm (that never materialized, unfortunately), captured on April 1, 2006. Two versions of the footage are provided -- 2.5 minutes, and one sped up to 10 seconds. Be aware that the video does have some noticeable horizontal lines. This just an artifact of the camera's CCD. The footage has been color-corrected to cut through the haze, and each frame is a blend of 10 frames, to limit the picture noise.

The Kuiseb River in Namibia is bordered on one side by the tallest sand dunes in the world, and on the other by barren rock. The red sand dunes south of the river reach heights over 150 meters. The prevailing winds blow the dunes northward, but their movement is blocked by the river. In the process, so much sand and silt is deposited in the Kuiseb that it only reaches the sea while it is in flood. Sensor: Space Shuttle/SRTM.

Buster's handmade boat, The Damfino, is finished and is, of course, too large to get through the basement door. When he drives off with it in tow, the side of his house, then the whole thing, collapses. At the harbor he rides the boat out only to have it sink beneath him. The rest is a series of adventures he and his family have with the restored boat. This funny short has some good subtile gags plus the usual slapstick and gadgets.
